Our Story
STEM EXPORTS PHILS., INC. started manufacturing and exporting original designed handcrafted Capiz shell (Placuna placenta) products in 1990. From a small garage with a start up capital of only Php 2,000.00 (less than US$100) the company started exporting outright Capiz novelty items to Germany and USA. More buyers, big importers/wholesalers and later multinational retail corporations followed. It became one of the fastest growing handicrafts companies in the Philippines. Since then, millions of our products have been exported to USA, Germany, Japan, Australia, France, Italy, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, Middle East, New Zealand and South America.
Through the years, our company has built a reputation for quality, reliability, on time delivery, reliability, hands on management and prompt action, continuous product development, originality of designs and excellent price. Yearly the company passes compliance as required by buyers for Ethical Standards; Security; Facility Capacity Capability Audit; and have been consistently awarded Gold Certificate by WRAP.
Our company is SEC and BOI registered and the 2,500 square meter area office/factory are located in Antipolo City, 17km from Manila International Airports and 18km from the shipping terminals.
Our Products
Our tree toppers, angel ornaments, star ornaments and laminated balls have been our best sellers for 32 years. The company designs and manufactures Christmas tree trims, tree toppers and table toppers – star, angels, reindeers, santa, crosses, doves, butterflies, mini trees, poinsettias, snowman, butterflies, cardinals, and more; Easter items, tabletops; votive and candle holders; sun-catchers; wind chimes, Capiz balls of any sizes; lampshades; novelty items, everyday items; giveaways for birthdays and weddings; and more. We accept and protect buyer’s own designs.
Color finish for our products can be in gold (brass), silver, antique, natural, gold painted, gold leaf, gold or silver glittered, painted or in any other specifications. Our product development continuously designs new items every year.
